less free time than expected...

I've just accepted a teaching position in a private school. I honestly didn´t want to... However, I couldn't say "no"...
So, this year I'll be working with 1st, 2nd, 3rd and 5th grade! 10 groups in 3 different places.... I start tomorrow!!

I have tons of things to plan ahead, but I cannot start... lack of motivation or inspiration... I guess...

  1. Hi, I'm Mariela and totally new both to your blog and blogs in general!! I entered because I thought it would be interesting to know what other teachers are doing and thinking, and found your blog truly refreshing and, more than anything, real!! You comment on aspects we all feel, in a natural way that made me nod most of the time! How rude of me! I didn't introduce myself. I am Mariela Notaroberto, I've been working at Puntas de Manga for 12 years now, and find this choice of us as rewarding as demanding... but feel happy having undertaken it.
I now have no idea on how to share stuff with you or other teachers, but hope I will overcome this and be able to share what has worked for me...
Thanks for doing it so openly.

  2. Hello, my name is Mariela Notaroberto and as I am new to blogs this is the second time I try to post a comment, but still don't know if I'm doing it right...
I've been a teacher for 12 years at Puntas de Manga, and when I entered your blog I found not only great material, but also a real approach to our life... the doubts, the joy, the fears... congrats for being strong enough to share them!!
I also work with 1st, 4th, 5th and 6th graders. I now have no idea on how to share material with you or other teachers, but hope I will be able to overcome this and share what has worked for me.
Have a great re-start of the year!!

  3. Mariela hello! Nice to meet you! Thanks a lot for your comments! Those are the ones which motivate me to keep on doing this! You can contact me any time by posting a comment. I'm eager to share everything we teachers do on a daily basis and generally in isolation...
